\n<\/b> Adviye Bal prefers not to title her works because her goal is to prioritize the personal experiences and emotions of the viewers. By leaving her works untitled, she grants viewers the freedom to find their own meanings and narratives within the piece. The artist aims to transcend personal identities and history to share universal emotions and experiences. Thus, every viewer has the opportunity to discover the underlying story of the work from their own perspective.<\/span><\/p>\n

The meaning of a work can change from viewer to viewer; even the same viewer might interpret the same piece differently over time. This allows the individual to reinterpret the works at different stages of their personal journey. New Series Manifesto: <\/strong>The Cambrian Explosion<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t

3.5 billion years…<\/strong> It is uttered so quickly, yet the span of time it represents is almost impossible to grasp. From the emergence of the first living beings to the present day, it is a long, mysterious and thrilling story that continues until the appearance of the last evolved creature, the human.<\/p>\n

The most striking and fascinating chapter of this story is the Cambrian Period. After nearly 3 billion years in which life consisted only of single-celled or very simple organisms, this era, between 540 and 485 million years ago, stands out with the sudden and rapid increase in diversity, giving rise to more complex forms such as plants, animals and fungi.<\/p>\n

This process of accelerated diversification and development, often called the “Biological Big Bang”, is known as the Cambrian Explosion.<\/p>\n

My wish to remind everyone that every living being sharing this planet is in fact our relative, together with my desire to present to my own people the fossilized forms of Cambrian creatures that I have always found aesthetically fascinating, became the foundation of my new series.<\/p>\n

As those who are familiar with my work know, I give titles not to individual paintings but to entire series. I have now begun the process of creating my collection entitled “Cambrian Explosion”.<\/p>\n
